News on update

The recent update implemented "Fearless Cave". It basically adds another difficulty to the Misty Cave. In order to access it you must complete all 10 levels of Misty Cave and then you can choose to do Misty Cave.

I've been working on the Misty Cave calculations. Sorry it's going so slowly guys! Unfortunately I'm limited on the number of times I can actually do the cave levels and I'm testing each cave level with each level of upgrades. The good news on that is that there will be a much more comprehensive guide because of the method I'm testing.

Anyway that's it for now. Thanks for visiting guys!

  1. Hi. dude!
I'm from Russia and we made nice calculator. Check it http://dc589.2shared.com/download/aH2FtbBu/Calculator_SpartanWars_vers_16.exe?tsid=20130201-115913-c7ad8d05

  2. The calculator above over compensates the numbers needed. I ran the numbers for my current cave 7. 12338 Spears / 7491 Axemen. My tests yesterday showed 0 loses with 10089 archers and very small loses at 10050. Even after I punch in all skill levels the calculater is still saying I need 4000 more archers to take this cave down. It's a great start but the formula (at least for archers vs infantry) needs some tweaking. Heres my stats in case anyone wants to run their own tests.Sword Master 15, Sharpest Spear 14, Heavy Axe 14, Heavy infantry 16, Elite marksmenship 18, Skilled Equestrian 14. Cheers.

  4. Try force quitting the application and reopening it. For iPhone you go to home screen and tap the home button twice. Press and hold the Spartan Wars App on the quick menu bar until it starts shaking. Tap the red circle with the white bar in it to force quit.

  5. Hello :). Whats the best thing to spend the pearls on? Should i use them for farming the cave or save them for some kind of items?

    1. I personally save them to use on a high level god. I like to use the Favour of Zues which gives you either a 3 or 4 star god. Other than that I save them for land expansions. Some people might use them on the second city deed which can really help a lot specifically if you get it very early, but it's possible to get the second city in the chance chests or even through artifacts.

  6. hi everyone,
i coundn't find a proper section so i'm going to ask it here. Feel free to move my question in a better place.
I think that happiness factor needs to be explained.
What does it depends from? I can guess the number and the power of the units in the city. but what about if the troops move or reinforce another city or resource? or if they attack? does it change anything? is there any way to raise happiness with a lower cost and then move back my troops?
with a 10M of power to me it has some huge cost to keep happiness not even high, just about 4500.. ridiculous, i have to discover more as soon as possible..
the funny part is that in the second city (lv.20), surely with by far less men, it costs 1/8 compared to the main city (liv 21)..
    heeeelllp!!
thank you, congratulations to the best forum i've seen so far..

    1. Happiness depends on time, combats and on how large your army is. If you do not do anything, it naturally decreases as time goes by. If you attack (or are attacked) and loose the combat, it decreases. And how much it decreases depends on how large your army is. Larger armies decreases faster and costs more to increase again.

If your happiness is at top, and you create more units, it will decrease proportionally (your army is bigger now). If your happiness is at the top, and you receive more units from one of your cities, it will decrease accordingly.

There is no escape, no turn arounds: feed your army!

      ;c)

  10. Does anyone know the equation for calculating the number of losses. I've searched many different forums and no one can seem to come up with an answer. I'm particularly interested in the way this game works and regarding the formula that governs losses. I understand that there is a block factor in the equation somewhere which is a constant multiplied but some other variable. But i cannot figure out what it is. The alliance I am in has the equation but will not distribute it to lower ranked members. So i'm trying to derive it for myself.
